For those that have never heard of this term before here is a quick description and invitation. The season of Easter doesn't end with the empty tomb on Easter Sunday—it begins there.

Eastertide, also known as the Great Fifty Days, stretches from Easter Sunday to Pentecost. It's a time of joy, renewal, and deep reflection on the meaning of resurrection in our daily lives.

In these seven weeks, the Church invites us to linger with the stories of the risen Christ—his appearances to the disciples, his words of peace, and his call to continue his mission. It’s a season marked by alleluias, white and gold paraments, and the unwavering message that love has conquered death.

But Eastertide isn’t just a liturgical observance; it’s a spiritual invitation. How are we being called to live as resurrection people? Where do we see new life blooming—in our relationships, our communities, and in our service to others?

Let Eastertide be a season where we not only remember the resurrection but embody it. Let our actions proclaim, “Christ is risen, indeed!”—not just with words, but with lives transformed by hope, grace, and love.
